Thank you for stopping by www.AskTheCandidate.org, the nation's only website that's run by lobbyists with the specific focus of helping you exercise your Constitutional Rights of free speech, candidate contact, and letter writing. This website has been specifically designed with one goal in mind: Getting your question(s), thoughts and feelings before candidates and then having them respond. But before I get into the specifics of the program, I want you to know that in order to achieve the above goal, 2 specific programs have been created. The first program is the creation of a 'question forum' designed to provide you with a free way to ask any candidate in the country a question, and then discuss that question with the public at large. After we notify the candidate of the question, it is our hopes that the candidate(s) will check in and answer them - either publicly on the message board or via private communications with you (so make sure you leave as way for them to contact you - preferably email). The second program is much more in-depth and revolutionary. Specifically, for the nominal sum of $1.49, the website helps you create specific letters that will be delivered by a lobbyist to the candidate the letter is addressed to. This program is designed to get specific answers to your questions, and we know (hope) that many of 2008's campaigns are in the process of hiring people to help answer constituent questions.
